( 7 ) Abandoned High School (6/10/2017)

Abandoned High School

We venture out to another abandoned high school. This was the biggest high school as of now that we’ve explored. The auditorium, gymnasium, pool, workout room, and classrooms were all so beautiful and looked really nice (even though the whole school was vandalized). This school was a four-year high school (grades 9 – 12) that closed in 2014. It opened in 1926, and was named after an Indian who served as a United States general during the American Civil War. The facility had about 65 teachers. Sadly, the school was voted 4 – 2 to close, along with 5 other schools nearby. The building had over 2.8 million dollars in repairs and they just couldn’t afford fixing it.
